Mini Moves and More, Inc. treats each move as if we are moving family. The care towards customer service is our number one goal. It starts with our very first interaction whether it’s over the phone, through email or in person with an onsite estimate and continues throughout your move date and beyond. We strive to answer every call and email immediately to ensure our customer care. We man the office Monday through Saturday with one or two sales reps who work for Mini Moves and More, Inc. and are very knowledgeable with how we operate on a daily basis. Once you secure a move date the customer service doesn’t stop. We call a few days prior to your move date to confirm start times and make sure you don’t need any last minute packing services or extra moving supplies.
The real customer service starts when our trained crew arrives at your home on time and ready to complete the task at hand. Our crews arrive in fully stocked trucks with all the tools, equipment, dollies and pads to complete your move in a professional and timely manner. After the crew completes a walk-through and goes over our bill of lading we will individually wrap all wooden furniture in your home before we move anything into the truck. We leave each item padded throughout the moving process to ensure safe travels. Upon arrival at your new home we will do a walk-through asking where you would like certain pieces of furniture and how you would like your rooms set up. Sometimes that process takes 2 or 3 times before the customer gets the fit their looking for in their new home, and we are glad to assist. We have no problem trying a few different options and sometimes we can even offer our opinions because we see new trends every day.
At both locations we will lay carpet protection down on high-traffic areas upon request to prevent them from getting dirty. Before the guys pack up the truck and leave your home they will do one final walk-though to make sure you’re happy with the layout of your furniture and belongings. If you want anything rearranged this is your opportunity to ask. We want you to be able to throw some sheets on your bed and be able to lay your head after a long day. Custom Services we provide to ensure a safe and worry free move is:
1) We reach out to all customers a few days in advance to check in on your packing preparation.
2) Free box delivery to all booked customers.
3) Disassemble and Reassemble all furniture.
4) Pad up all wooden furniture before it leaves your home and stays wrapped till it arrives in new location.
5) Shrink wrap all cloth / fabric and leather furniture to ensure items stays clean during move.
6) Lay carpet protection on high traffic areas to keep them as clean as possible during the move. (Upon request)
7) Rearrange furniture in house after you move in.
8) Provide felt pads to prevent scratching on wood floors (Upon request)
9) We will try to accommodate any special request with prior arrangements
10) We check in a week after to make sure the move went smooth
Insurance:
Mini Moves and More is a FULLY LICENSED AND INSURED moving company. We carry general liability, worker’s compensation, freight and cargo insurance along with storage coverage all held by Northbridge Insurance. We can provide all customers, condo associations, office building and other persons with COI upon request.
Note: Mini Moves & More, Inc. DOES NOT accept liability for the following items when not packed by us:Lamps, lampshades, artwork, pictures, mirrors, plants, statues, ceramic goods, glassware, dishes, china.
In addition, Mini Moves & More, Inc. will NOT be liable for:
Any marble or granite pieces including tabletops
Items found broken in boxes not packed by Mini Moves & More, Inc.
Mechanical condition of audio/visual or electronic equipment
Computers and battery operated items
Missing hardware for items not disassembled by Mini Moves & More, Inc.
Press-board or particleboard furniture (IKEA)
Previously damaged or repaired items
Previously damaged or loose veneer
Furniture where original glue has dried out
Any small, loose items which are not boxed (keys, remote controls, etc.)
It one item in a set is damaged, only that one item is covered, not the entire set
